The “Dodge Dealers” Dodge

This Intrepid R/T, sponsored by the factory-backed Dodge Dealers, raced in the legendary Daytona 500 in 2001.
Bill Elliott
William Clyde “Bill” Elliott was born on October 8, 1955.
“Awesome Bill from Dawsonville” or “Million Dollar Bill” was the 1988 Winston Cup Champion and has won a total of 45 races, including two victories in the Great American Race, the Daytona 500.
With a speed of over 212 mph, Elliott still holds the record for the fastest speed in a NASCAR race.
He was voted NASCAR’s Most Popular Driver 16 times and was inducted into the NASCAR Hall of Fame in 2015.
The Model Kit
This Revell model kit from 2001 is a Dodge Intrepid R/T.
The kit is molded in white with clear and chrome-plated parts. A driver figure and matching decals are also included.
The car is painted in a single color, so assembly is quite simple overall.
The NASCAR124 rules allow the Dodge to be lightened/hollowed out. This makes it possible to achieve an individual and precise weight distribution.
Dodges are as popular as they are rare in slot racing. They are very wide and unusually low at the front, which additionally has a positive effect on performance.
Notice
This model kit is not a toy for children!
It contains small parts that can easily be swallowed. Never leave children under 10 years of age unsupervised with a model kit like this!
Please note that the enclosed decals may be brittle due to their age. If you wish to use them, you should definitely pre-treat the decals before soaking them in water and coat them with a suitable clear film!
I do not accept any liability for the fit, condition, or functionality of the decals!
