The Model Kit
For its 50th anniversary, NASCAR licensed a very small number of replicas of authentic race cars. This model kit from Revell Monogram, released in 1998, was produced exclusively and in a limited run (19,500 pieces worldwide) to celebrate NASCAR’s golden anniversary.
The entire body of the 50th Anniversary Chevy Monte Carlo is coated in high-gloss gold (of course not real gold…), making it a truly one-of-a-kind car. The kit includes a complete second body (white).
Among other things, the ’98 Chevrolet Monte Carlo kits are known for their very low weight, which gives them unbeatable performance when used for slot racing. With an extremely light body (and with the original inlet!), they can be built to minimum weight with an ideal center of gravity. The body is 21.3 cm (8.4 in) long.
The 92 parts are molded in white and clear, or coated in gold. Black Goodyear vinyl tires are included.
A very nice model for your display case, or for building a high-performance slot car according to Sakatsu / Thunder rules.

This model kit is not a toy for children!
It contains small parts that can easily be swallowed. Never leave children under 14 unsupervised with a model kit like this!
Please note that the included decals may be brittle due to their age. If you want to use them, you should definitely pre-treat the decals and cover them with a suitable film before soaking them in water!
