Bill Elliott

William Clyde “Bill” Elliott (born October 8, 1955), also known by his nicknames “Awesome Bill from Dawsonville” and “Million Dollar Bill,” is a retired American racing driver and former NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion.
In 2007, Elliott was inducted into the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America.
He won the NASCAR Winston Cup Series championship in 1988 and has a total of 44 wins in that series.
Two Daytona 500 victories and the record for four consecutive wins at Michigan International Speedway are also to his credit. He also still holds the unbeaten record for the highest qualifying speeds at Talladega at 212.809 mph (approx. 342.48 km/h) and at Daytona at 210.364 mph (approx. 338.52 km/h). The speed recorded at Talladega in 1987 remains the fastest in NASCAR history to this day.
Bill Elliott won the “NASCAR’s Most Popular Driver Award” 16 times. This is also an unbeaten record.
The Model Kit
This 1996 Revell model kit is a Ford Thunderbird in the striking red, yellow and white McDonald’s livery.
The parts are molded in white and clear. Chrome-plated parts and black vinyl tires are included.
A very nice model for your display case, or for building a high-performance slot car according to the Sakatsu / Thunder rules.
Notice
This model kit is not a toy for children!
It contains small parts that can easily be swallowed. Never leave children under 10 years of age unsupervised with a model kit like this!
Please note that the included decals may be brittle due to their age. If you want to use them, you should definitely pre-treat the decals and coat them with a suitable film before soaking them in water! I do not accept any liability for the usability of the decals.
