Mark Martin

Mark Anthony Martin (born January 9, 1959) most recently drove the Gen-6 Chevy SS with the number 14 as a substitute for Tony Stewart, who missed several races after an accident in a Sprint Car series event.
As of the 2014 season, he was the second most successful driver in the Nationwide Series (now the Xfinity Series) with 49 wins. He finished runner-up in the Sprint Cup Series five times. The American television network described Martin as “the best driver to never win a championship.”
With five IROC championship wins and thirteen IROC race wins, he remains unmatched to this day.
Over the course of 31 active years, Mark Martin ran a total of 882 races in the Sprint Cup Series and concluded his active career in 2013 with the “Ford EcoBoost 400” at Homestead.
The Model Kit
This 1990 model kit from Monogram is a Ford Thunderbird in the red and yellow Folgers design.
The parts are molded in red and clear. Included are chrome-plated parts and black vinyl tires.
A very nice model for your display case, or for building a high-performance slot car according to Sakatsu / Thunder rules.
Notice
This model kit is not a children’s toy!
It contains small parts that can easily be swallowed. Never leave children under 10 years of age unattended with a model kit like this!
Please note that the included decals may be brittle due to their age. If you want to use them, you should definitely pre-treat the decals and cover them with a suitable film before soaking them in water! I do not provide any warranty for the functionality of the decals.
