The Model Kit
This 1990 Monogram model kit is a Pontiac Grand Prix. The Grand Prix was used with only very minor changes through 1991.
If you want to build a truly high-performing slot car under the NASCAR124 rules, the 1990 and 1991 Pontiac Grand Prix are an excellent choice.
They feature a very low center of gravity and a very wide track, so the maximum allowed width can be built without any problems. Together with the Sakatsu or Thunder chassis, the minimum weight of 210 grams can be hit almost exactly, without having to compromise on details or paint.
