Dale Earnhardt
In February 2001, motorsports in general, and NASCAR in particular, lost a legend. At the “Great American Race,” the Daytona 500, Dale Earnhardt was involved in a crash on the final lap and died.
For several decades, American racing revolved mainly around one man: the Intimidator, as Dale Earnhardt was known.
He never gave up on a head-to-head battle without giving it everything he had, and he was as well known as he was feared among his fellow drivers for his willingness to trade paint.
This ProFinish model kit includes the equally legendary black Chevy Monte Carlo with the number 3, in which Dale Earnhardt competed in the Daytona race, but did not finish it. If there is one model car that belongs in a collection of race cars, this is definitely the one!
The Model Kit
This model kit by Monogram from 2001 is a Chevy Monte Carlo from the Winston Cup Series of that era. It is a ProFinish model kit.
The body comes already painted in multiple colors, with the main sponsor logos and the car numbers applied using the pad printing process. Only the included stickers (or aftermarket decals) need to be applied.
Thanks to “SnapTite,” the remaining assembly is very easy to complete.
Notice
This model kit is not a toy for children!
It contains small parts that can easily be swallowed. Never leave children under 14 unsupervised with a model kit like this!
Please note that the included stickers may be brittle due to their age.
I do not offer any warranty for the fit, condition, or function of the stickers!
