Darrell Waltrip
Darrell Lee Waltrip is one of the true originals of NASCAR and one of the sport’s marketing geniuses.

During his active racing career, he won three championships in the Winston Cup Series (1981, 1982 and 1985). Over the course of 809 starts in a 29-year career, D.W. won a total of 84 Cup races, including the legendary Daytona 500 in 1989.
Even almost 20 years after the end of his career, he still holds numerous NASCAR records.
He is the older brother of Michael Waltrip and, together with Jeff Gordon, provides commentary for NASCAR races on Fox Sports.
Darrell Waltrip drove the Mountain Dew Buick Regal into Victory Lane in 1982.
